*Kapp's Cougars were led to their 11.85 point victory by a 26.55 point effort from Drew Brees, who tore apart the Detroit Lions defense for 351 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. With this performance, Brees was the number 6 ranked quarterback for week 16. They also got help from a 18.10 point effort from Matt Forte, who snuck past the Green Bay Packers defense for 73 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 28 receiving yards. "We finally got the monkey off our backs," *Kapp's Cougars coach Dave Cogar said. *Mutt Cutts (Who Dey! Go Bengals!) were helped out in a losing cause by a 20.50 point effort from Dallas Clark, who beat the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 105 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD. With this performance, Clark was the number 2 ranked tight end for week 16. They also got help from a 14.10 point effort from Vincent Jackson, who beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 111 receiving yards. "The best team won today," *Mutt Cutts (Who Dey! Go Bengals!) coach Jeff Forrester said. Compounding the issue, *Mutt Cutts (Who Dey! Go Bengals!) could have scored 114.90 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Jeff Forrester left key players like Cedric Benson and his corresponding 19.10 points on the bench. This brings the record for *Kapp's Cougars to 12-3, and drops *Mutt Cutts (Who Dey! Go Bengals!) to a record of 9-7. | ||
