| There comes a time in every coach's career when he feels he needs to move on. Well, I've officially reached that point and am announcing that this has been my last season as manager for the Twinkies. It has been a wonderful experience, but many opportunities remain to be explored. Good luck to everyone next season. |

| Am I being a Grinch, or does it sound like Fred's retirement is because he is afraid of the re-naming wrath he would face next season, after years of foisting horrible names on other owners? Just asking.
