I hope everyone had a fun season.  Congrats to those who are competing for the League Championship.  For playoff purposes, all scores posted right at the end of the fantasy week are final.  No scoring changes will occur from this point throughout the rest of the season. Good luck to all.

Teams will compete in head-to-head competition each week. The top 6 teams regardless of conference with the best overall records will earn playoff spots.  Playoff seeding will be determined as follows:

Best win/loss record
Total Points Scored
Head to Head match-ups
Coin Toss

Conference Record will not be included to decide Conference winners this year.

All 6 playoff teams will be seeded according to the information above.  Both Conference winners will have a week 14 bye while the 3rd & and the 6th seed square off as well as the 4th & 5th seeds in week 14.  If by chance all top 6 teams are in the same conference at then end of the regular season, the 2nd place overall team, using the formula above, will receive the week 14 bye.  Winners during week 14 will advance to the week 15 Finals.  The top Division winner will face the lowest advancing seed from week 14 in week 15.  The 2nd division winner will face the next lowest advancing seed from week 14 in week 15. Winners of the week 15 Finals advance to the Leagues 4You Fantasy Bowl to be held during week 16 of the NFL season.  The winner during week 16 will be declared the 4You Fantasy Bowl Champion and receive the top prize!  The league runner up in the week 16 game will receive the Runner Up Prize.

Why are we changing the rules, and how we determined final outcomes of games, at this point?  Given that these are the most important games of the season, and waivers will not be a factor, why are we changing now?  What about the "getting it right" part?  I just don't understand the reasoning behind this move.

Getting it right is important.  What I can't control is the fact that the final results are not updated until sometime on Thursday.  That's cutting it too close to the vest to determine who is going to be playing that next week starting Thursday night.

I also consider that I have to work.  What if a change comes in on Thursday while I'm working.  What if I can't get to make changes before the games start that evening.  The playoffs would be a mess.  In the best interest of the league with eliminations in the playoffs, I have to make any scoring results final at the end of the weeks games.

I personally believe that "getting it right," is MORE important than any other reason.  There are only six teams in the playoffs.  If I am in a game in which the point differential is quite small I should still put in a lineup IN CASE the statistics are corrected and re calculated on Thursday.  That would be a simple way to deal with the "what if" scenario the commish mentioned previously.  I just don't like changing the rules now, it doesn't seem fair in my opinion.  The possibility of disregarding scoring/statistical changes after Monday night's game was brought up after week #1 and the commish ruled getting it right was the important thing.  I don't understand why now when the most important part of the fantasy season is going on the rules are altered.  I personally believe the rules should be consistent throughout the season.
