With this performance, Brees was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 30.90 point effort from Marques Colston, who got by the Detroit Lions defense for 99 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs.

USC Sucks! Go Bruins! were helped out in a losing cause by a 36.95 point effort from Jay Cutler, who tore apart the Buffalo Bills defense for 359 passing yards in addition to 30 rushing yards. With this performance, Cutler was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 16. They also got help from a 26.90 point effort from Brandon Marshall, who beat the Buffalo Bills defense for 129 receiving yards.
