In the other playmakers league, at the beginning of this year, we voted on introducing a toilet bowl for the teams that don't make the playoffs, to give a little extra incentive for people to keep trying to win all the way through.  We are going to give the winner of the toilet bowl an extra 1st round pick, at the end of the 1st round so it would be pick 1.13
If this league is interested in doing the same, I will put up a pole to vote, and the majority wins, so if 7 of you want that then we will do it.

I would also like to make the league a FCFS on waivers.  I have found that having this set-up will make the league more active.  As of now there is few owners that check this site on an daily basis.

I also vote yes to the toliet bowl idea.   I could always use another first rounder...

I vote yes to the toliet bowl! I would love to se FCFS waivers to as this is the only league that I am in that doesn't allow it! It would make it a little more interesting IMO! Congrats there Josh!

means who ever is on the site 1st get the player they want
In this league I think it's fair to leave it like it is

I agree with Houston, because not everyone is on the same time zone, that means when waivers opened up after sunday's games, it may be in the middle of the night for some people depending on where they live, which would make it unfair to all in here.

Seems that it would be in the best interest of league balance to allow the teams with the worst records to pick first.  I think it would be best to leave as is unless there is a better option.

FCFS means that waivers are open all the time... This will make for a much more active league.  This league is dead as of now.  It is hit or miss if you actually get to talk to someone in here....

The best way to do a waiver wire system is to have the worst to first player pickups like we have now on wednesday night where a worst to first waiver order is followed. However, after the initial worst to first waiver period ends on wednesday night at 10pm, it should be from then on up until kickoff of each players game a FCFS system so that if you have a late scratch who is inactive for you, there will still be time for you to grab a replacement from the free agent pool. This happened to me last season on one of my teams when on Sunday morning I found out my kicker had pulled a hammy during warmups and I couldn't get a replacement because the system was like the on we use here right now. I had to go without a kicker and lost my game by 4 points because of the waiver system. :-(

I would agree with a FCFS period after one or two WTF waivers goes through.

FCFS continuously takes all the fun out of having a life other than fantasy football...
I am playing in one such league this year and will never do so again...

I vote for the toilet bowl.  I am absolutely apposed to the FCFS method of selecting free agents.  I am either in tax court and totally unavailable during the day or traveling by air.  This league was established with this FA process.  I was forced to give up leagues where it was FCFS as players were grabbed within seconds.  Those of us who have business related obligations are at the disadvantage.  It is the choice of the owners not to check and the price they pay for not checking.  If an offer is made and not responded to there should be a penalty (possibly forgoing a draft pick).  Since everyone is required to submit a lineup then it is a requirment to check at least once a week.
